Presenter: Ken Parmelee, IBM MobileFirst – Director of Product Strategy
Ken Parmelee leads technology and business development strategy for IBM MobileFirst software offerings. His team has lead industry leading partnerships for IBM in the mobile space. Ken is also driving product evangelism and ecosystem for the MobileFirst products. Prior to IBM, Ken was the lead Research Director for Gartner’s Mobile and Client Computing group focusing on mobile and authored the Mobile Application Development Magic Quadrant along with many other research pieces. In addition he provides guidance on mobile user experience best practices.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr Parmelee was senior director of product management, with Antenna software, where he helped drive the company’s mobile application software roadmap as the company doubled in revenue. His mobile application team built groundbreaking HTML5 mobile applications and management technologies. He also opened new verticals for Antenna in life sciences, manufacturing and retail. Prior to his six years with Antenna, he held a variety of key positions, with Everdream, KPMG, Sony and others building a technology career that goes back to 1995.
