Mark graduated from Wright State University with a BS in Computer Science in 1984 and proceeded to spend the next several years working for the United States Air Force and defense companies as an Oracle consultant. In 1991 Mark started his first consulting company focusing on Very Large Database Technology and worked on projects at GE Advance Technology Group and AC Nielsen Advance Technology Group implementing large scale data warehousing projects. Mark merged his company with a Chicago based organization to become The Revere Group, which provided consulting and enterprise architecture to clients such as Northern Trust, AC Nielsen, Budget Rent A Car, ABN AMRO, Wrigley, Baxter, Harley Davidson, Duke Energy, Bank of America, Nestle NA and Union Carbide. In 1997, Mark started Ballantyne Consulting Group to provide application development and business process reengineering for clients that included St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Duke Energy, Belk, Harris-Teeter, Michelan NA, Ocwen Federal Bank, Royal Sun Alliance Insurance and Lending Tree. Mark sold Ballantyne to Pomeroy IT Solutions where he became SVP of Consulting responsible for $150 Million annually in services, projects, implementations and consulting. In 2006, Mark left Pomeroy to become a management consultant at Tracfone Wireless where he eventually became SVP of IT for Operations and Application Support and later CIO. During his tenure at Trafone the company grew from $800 Million in revenue to over $6 Billion in revenue and went from one brand to eight brands.
