When he formed AAJ, Shamim focused on a realization he’d come to during his years working with other IT companies: mid-sized companies were not being served properly by IT providers. Fifteen years later, AAJ Technologies clients range from these small and mid-sized businesses to billion dollar multinational companies. His more than 25 years of experience includes successfully managing multiple Information Technology divisions and locations for large companies in healthcare technology. Shamim has also participated in the M&A process and performed technical evaluations of prospective acquisitions as well as integration of new acquisitions into the company. He has extensive experience with systems development in leading technologies including wireless, web and e-commerce and project management. He also has wide-ranging experience in industries such as Banking, Cruise Lines, Transportation, Insurance and Healthcare. ![AAJ Technologies]() Ed Kirchmier joined the management team of AAJ Technologies as Director of Project Delivery from Carnival Corporation where he managed corporate IT initiatives across Carnival’s cruise line brands. Ed has a strong project management and systems implementation background with 18 years of consulting experience managing technology solutions and services for many Fortune 500 companies, including Ryder, Apple Computer, Burger King, Cendant Corporation, IVAX, Allstate, CNA Insurance, CommerceOne and Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting). Ed is an Electrical and Computer Engineering graduate from the University of Notre Dame. ![AAJ Technologies]() Colleen Taylor has extensive experience providing quality assurance, project management and systems implementation / training on major IT initiatives and commercial software product development in the healthcare and financial industries. Colleen previously worked for Xcelerate, an e-business solution provider; CareCentric, formerly Simione Central, a leading home healthcare / HME software solution provider; and M&I Data Services developing mortgage banking software applications. Colleen received her Bachelor of Science and Masters from Florida State University. She brings a wealth of experience to the AAJ Healthcare practice. Her background includes experience with patient registration, billing, medical records, scheduling, inventory, and back-end financials. In addition, she has management experience in hospital administration, which includes admissions and business office experience. ![AAJ Technologies]() Vicky Durkin executes marketing initiatives for AAJ Technologies' products and services. She brings over 20 years experience in market analysis and communications working for the country's largest media companies. Vicky conducted primary/secondary research for product development and initiated product launches at Knight-Ridder/McClatchy, the third largest newspaper and Internet publisher in the United States. At Knight-Ridder/McClatchy she was awarded the MAX award by the Marketing Division for superior performance. Vicky further developed her marketing expertise in database/direct marketing and advertising campaign development for national and local clients at Tribune, the largest employee-owned media company with businesses in publishing, interactive and broadcasting. While at Tribune, Vicky was awarded the Advertising Division’s excellence award in Database Marketing for the development of a strategic response analysis for a national manufacturing client. She was also awarded the company's President's Award for Outstanding Performance in Marketing and the Presentation of the Year award for repositioning the company as a "must buy" to clients. Vicky holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Florida International University and is active with various professional organizations in South Florida. ![AAJ Technologies]() Nadeem Akhter has extensive experience working as a lead architect on large-scale application development projects encompassing e-commerce, content management systems, document management systems, and systems integrations. There’s no one better to solve a major problem or lead a technical team. Nadeem holds a Masters degree in Computer Science along with virtually all meaningful Microsoft certifications including MCSD (.NET), MCAD (.NET), MCSD (traditional), MCDBA, and MCSE. He was one of the first 50 Microsoft Certified Application Developers (MCAD .NET Certification Track) worldwide. In the Web Services beta exam offered by Microsoft, he scored so high that Microsoft management invited him (along with 3 others worldwide) to their Redmond offices to discuss his thoughts on the examination content and process to improve development of the test. All this, and he can explain workflows and processes to the most basic system users. Additionally, Nadeem is a certified Java programmer (SCJ2P). He is a regular contributor to several online publications and has won several awards for solving complex problems and suggesting best solutions within the Software Engineering arena. ![AAJ Technologies]() Rizwan Mazhar is the Managing Partner for the Asian operations of AAJ Technologies. Rizwan is a true entrepreneur who started retail and manufacturing businesses from scratch in the early 90’s and built them into multi-million dollar organizations. He understands what it takes to help our customers build successful businesses by leveraging technology. He saw the value of IT and the benefits of technology solutions in providing greater returns for his businesses and helped found AAJ Technologies to provide that support to other businesses throughout the world. Rizwan has an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the rapidly growing Asian economy and focuses on bringing the benefits of modern IT products and services to the doorsteps of the developing Asian markets. He also prides himself on becoming a facilitator in their quest to modernize their countries. In addition to these aspects, Rizwan also oversees Finance and Accounting departments for AAJ. Rizwan attended the University of Miami and St. Thomas University and has a bachelor’s degree in Finance. ![AAJ Technologies]() Chris Jackson joined AAJ Technologies in 2010 to lead the Federal Practice Team. He is responsible for business development with all Federal Government agencies including a focus on Health and Human Services. Mr. Jackson represents AAJ with enterprise customers designing strategic roadmaps with a focus on enterprise modernization and legacy system remediation. Mr. Jackson has over twenty-five years of technology solution delivery experience with an emphasis on business intelligence and enterprise data warehouse design. He has successfully led the implementation of eight enterprise financial data warehouses for public sector, banking, and transportation clients. Most recently, Mr. Jackson worked as a Strategic Data Architect in the Office of the CIO at United Healthcare for Medicare and Retirement (formerly Ovations) where he created strategic roadmaps and enterprise system integration plans for distribution channel management and web analytic portals. Mr. Jackson also led the Access to Data team providing enterprise analytics for United Healthcare for Military and Veterans Services working with TRICARE. Mr. Jackson spent more than seven years as a Technical Director at Oracle Corp working with Federal Agencies including the CMS and the Department of Justice. He also has consulted for leading organizations including Teradata, Qantas Airlines, General Electric, and IBM. ![AAJ Technologies]() Terry joins AAJ Technologies and JET Health Solutions (JHS) as the Vice President of Healthcare to continue providing the highest quality healthcare technology services. Terry Boch has over 24 years of experience within the industry, including executive level positions within a number of healthcare technology organizations as well as large payer and provider organizations. Terry spent the last six years as Executive Director at Covisint where she was instrumental in building and managing a global healthcare organization through significant growth, including the acquisition of three healthcare technology companies in less than five years. Prior to Covisint, Terry’s healthcare management experience includes: Misys Healthcare Systems, United Healthcare, Carolinas Healthcare System, and KPMG.
