Amjad Shamim, CEO of AAJ Technologies, is being honored by the South Florida Business Journal as a Broward Ultimate CEO. This award acknowledges the leadership and community contributions of ten Broward County-based CEOs every year. With this award, Mr. Shamim joins a list of CEOs including H. Wayne Huizenga, Bob Moss, and Peggy Nordeen.
Mr. Shamim was selected for this award by an advisory panel that includes former recipients of the award and some of the most prestigious business leaders in Broward County. This award recognizes not only the extraordinary achievements of AAJ Technologies over the last 16 years, but also Mr. Shamim’s selfless dedication to the betterment of the community he lives in.
Mr. Shamim’s passion lies in helping the companies he works with to locate and realize their greatest potential. When he formed AAJ, Shamim focused on a realization he’d come to during his years working with other IT companies: mid-sized companies were not being served properly by IT providers. Today, AAJ Technologies clients range from small and mid-sized businesses to billion dollar multinational companies. Each of these clients can attest to the fact that AAJ’s corporate philosophy mirrors that of Shamim himself: get projects done quickly, efficiently and create great relationships.
“It is truly an honor to receive this recognition from The South Florida Business Journal,” said Mr. Shamim. “This award is clearly the result of the team I work with, each one of my team members, and every client I’ve had the pleasure to work with over the last 16 years. I wouldn’t be here without each of them, and I’m eternally grateful to be surrounded by such passionate, dedicated people day in and day out.”
